These Chocolate Covered Strawberries topped off a delicious luncheon with dear friends.
O taste and see that the LORD is good;
How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
O fear the LORD, you His saints;
For to those who fear Him there is no want.—Psalm 34:8-9

I just love all of the color in that post, Emily Rose!
Wow! Those look great! Fantastic color, composition and depth-of-field as well. Food photography is so much fun!
Those strawberries look do delicious! I think I’ll grab one to eat. The color is wonderful, as well.
Those look too good to eat!
I didn’t think chocolate covered strawberries could possibly look more appealing until now!
{My daughter asked if Miss Rose would give her one, LOL!!}
oooh, recipes should accompany photos like this one! Maybe a gluten free cookbook would be a good project to complement your photography, Emily!
I just ate and this picture is making my mouth water! :)

Beautiful picture, Emily Rose.
wonderfully sweet! :)
Beautiful picture, dear Emily Rose!
The recipe is very simple, but I don’t have any exact measurements.
15-20 large strawberries
1-1/2 cups dark semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 stick of butter
several dashes of salt
1-2 tsp of vanilla
Take quite a few large, juicy strawberries (with the tops on), wash and dry them well, and chill in the refrigerator. Take approximately one cup of chocolate chips and melt in a small saucepan with 1 stick of butter, Salt (and optional 1 tsp. vanilla) to taste.
When the butter and chips are melted, you will want the consistency to be smooth, shiny, and a little runny (not too much), not chunky and matte. You do not want the chocolate to glob on the strawberries, but to drip off when you do your dipping. If not, add more butter, to attain the shiny look.
Take the chilled, dry strawberries and dip into the chocolate mixture and set gently on a tray covered in wax paper. Allow to cool and enjoy.
God bless you all for your work to glorify our King!
